For those of the members that use these, how do you like them? What size do you use? There's several out there with different sizes. I think Ive even seen open ended, closed ended.
I've got the standard K&N cone filter that alot of members have, not sure of the exact size right now, 7" x 5" opening?
Thanks!

I've been using one for over 8 years.. ever since I got a JLT.
I'll measure it tomorrow.
Getting an open end one sort of defeats the purpose doesn't it?

They are awesome. Practically makes the filter maintenance free. Will be stopping at Summit Racing on way to MV11 to pick up new ones. Been on both cars since MV8 and there's a hole in the one on the 2004.

Keep the big dirt & debris out of the filter so you don't have to clean as often.

I think the open ended ones have a smaller diameter than the end of the cone filter and fit snug. The link on post #6 I believe is an open ended wrap.

Yes, the link is for the K&N filter which has a chrome cap on the end. (OP stated he has this filter)

It wraps over a cone air filter very much like a condom. Seriously.
