Also comes in black:

Plus it has the bearing cap supports.

Can't beat the price.

FYI ...

Purchased the Ford Racing Performance Parts M-4033-G1 axle girdle several years ago. It came with the anodized, allenhead bolts. Within a few weeks and very limited driving, the bolts showed signs of corrosion.

Would STRONGLY recommend replacing the supplied anodized bolts with stainless steel versions. Would also STRONGLY recommend using locktite when installing them.

The bearing supports do just that...... they support the bearing caps so they don't distort under accereration and torque. Probably overkill for an NA Marauder, but why take the chance?

thanks for the reassurance, but ill opt out, its more of a looks/personal preference thing for me. i like the finned look better than the bearing girdle cover(that is what its called, right?:o)

Stock OEM are 3/4" You need 1/2" longer than stock. 5/16" - 18 x 1.25".
ARP # 651-1250 (kit of 5 for $9 on summit) 5/16" - 18 x 1.25"
Return fittings-1/2 -14 NPSF (allready plugged). There's one up top (for a vent plug, axle housing allready has one though) that needs to be plugged. That is: 7/16-20 UNF

If you have a Fastenal nearby, they usually stock the stainless bolts - re:

You realize that you can't see the cover unless the car is on a lift.

Beware sway bar interference, especially when lowered or ADDCO bar is used.
