That right there is good stuff!

I was on my way home, skies weren't looking good. I was warned by limited360 rain was coming. Friggin train, u turn! Fly up a mile head east to brighter skies. Jump on 696 90mph get on 94e (which is more like n.e. in my neck of the woods) skies looking nasty, huge lightning, I'm crapping my pants, just detailed her.
Then (light goes on) I call the sister in law, she's right off the next exit! She says her and hubby aren't home:( I figure I'm screwed:mad2: then she says her son is home:o I tell her call him and tell him to open the gate and garage:bows:
I pull in the garage walk in their back door and it starts pouring:beatnik:
That's when I called wifey and asked for a ride, on the way home is when she told me about my obsession. So I was trapped for 3 more miles:mad: but my car stayed dry:D :woohoo:

I just tell my wife (Joanne) that with my car hobby, I can't afford a girlfriend.

I have been married over 44 years, so I guess she agrees.

She's been on my tail ever since we met 20 years ago. :P She can't believe I kept this car as long as I have since every car I've had before last 2 years at the most. I told her it's not going anywhere and it has it's permanent room at our house.......... The 3rd garage! :D

Hmmm.... lets see....

Car or a girl friend?

Car or a girl friend?

Car or a girl friend?

That is because the Marauder has a large trunk for all the things she buys at the Outlets.

I used to hear this all the time. It's quieted down as of late.

We ran an errand together last weekend and she wanted to take a convertible as the weather was great out. It was either her SAAB or my 69 Cougar. Took the Cougar and thoroughly enjoyed the time out.

She won't admit it, but she liked it too.

I do think she likes the Cougar more than the Marauder though.

Easy fix ... get her a Marauder, too!

She says I rub on the Marauder more than her too...but I remember my dog, she couldn't stand him either but when I had to put him down she was miserable. So I just let it go in one ear and out the other. My 4 daughters say I need a hobby outside of my wife

Well there are a lot of bad habits/obsessions one could have, at least this one is legal!
Better yet the Marauder doesn't talk back.

That is because the Marauder has a large trunk for all the things she buys at the Outlets.Guess what we have just down the street from our Hampton Inn, here in Hilton Head? I'm just glad that she doesnt have access to my credit cards, I've doing enough damage to them myself this month.

I think my Fiance gave up when I was on my 10th+ car in 18 months of being together!!

Now she is happy I found one to keep. I do not forsee the Marauder every leaving my garage, other than for storage in winter months if I find somewhere I approve of!

A quick fix to the problem:

Buy your [spouse / significant other] a muscle car for their own use. This way, you have corrupted them into the hobby. Now a basic understanding develops between the two of you.

I've been bugging her about what she wanted. She finally decided a classic mustang. I thought AWESOME! Finally got a firm answer. I show her a couple on the Internet, she responds "I want the bathroom done first" :/

I'd offer to paint the bathroom in Grabber Blue with racing Stripes.
How about a cold air scoop sticking out of the toilet seat?

Maybe that would be a little tacky and over the top!
