I just heard from Russ Pryor and Terry W. (Ms SC Cheesehead). Rex is in ICU at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Without going into detail, he is facing surgery and has other serious health complications. Terry texted Russ to cancel MV.

Please keep Rex and Terry in your thoughts and prayers this week. We will all miss their presence at MV11. Let our combined efforts to wish him to good health be the push he needs to get well and come home.

As we were passing right through Greenville today, I did stop at the hospital. I saw Terry and their daughter Lisa. Rex is in CCU. I spoke with him for just a few minutes. It was a lot of effort for him to speak (groggy and tired) but he did know me. He so wishes he could come to MV. I'm sure he's on plenty of medication and needs his rest. Terry said he doesn't remember much of the last week but Terry, Lisa and Eric have been at his side daily. No idea how long he will be there. I didn't ask a lot of questions. He is getting the care and attention he needs.

Please keep the prayers and encouraging thoughts coming!! We'll send a goody bag and a t-shirt back with Russ to give to him!

Just pulled in about half hour ago. Stopped to see Rex on my way back and spent almost an hour sitting with him. Although he is doing better and is gradually getting back to 100%, it was still tough for me to see him in his condition....just not used to it as he's always been in a jovial mood/high spirits when we've gotten together over the past 2.5 years.

I gave him the banner that was signed last night during the raffle/awards; he was very, very grateful and wanted me to pass along his thanks and also said "You guys are the best". I told him everything I could remember about this past weekend and that everyone missed his presence.

Richard (Roadwarrior) popped in while I was there and was still with him when I left, and I know Go2FlGuy (Mark?...sorry, I'm so terrible with names) has most likely paid a visit by now....they'll probably post up later on today. I ran into HammerDown and Fordfreak on my way into the hospital as well.

If I'm able to, I plan to go visit him again early next week.

Visiting Rex now as I write this post. He greatly appreciates Marauderville XI coming to him as he couldn't come to us. Delivered his goodie bag along with a Mo's Speed Shop t-shirt and a Marauder blue beanie from me. Got to show him some of our track videos with my iPad.

They are not sure what caused his initial challenge; however, he should be released and starting PT next week.

Terry seems to be in good spirits, too. Very glad I got to stop in and swap stories of our different experiences in the Middle East.

We stopped in to see Rex around 12:30 pm today on the way home. He was sitting in the chair having lunch. He looked lots better than when we stopped by Wednesday morning. We passed along all the good wishes from our Marauder family. He continues to recover and his words--"Not out of the woods yet, but I can see the fence". Sense of humor is there, good sign!!!

Keep up the good recovery, Rex, and you are in our thoughts every day.

:shake: Now you see what happens when you drink crappy beer. Blue Moon = Cellutitus :D of the leg. Yuengling = turbo charged blood cleansing nanobots that kill cellutitus of the leg germs. :bows:

Consensus: Cheap Coors' beer in a Blue Moon can = bad
Premium Yuengling lager in a bottle = good

Glad to hear you are on the mend my friend

Two Yuengling salute to you for a sppedy recovery
