I've heard that the Cobra PCV valve, Motorcraft # EV-111, is the better choice. I'm due to replace the one in The Blackbird and want to know if this is correct. TIA

If it will fit and is more or less vertical it should work OK.......I have used an EV-111 since 2005 with no problems!!

Remember to keep the plastic elbow off the old PCV.

Bump.

Anyone with an Eaton conversion who can confirm this?

I used a stock 03 cobra one which I think was ev-253?

Apparently EV-111 is the wrong number...

Bob, have you checked the Trilogy install manual? I can't find mine.

Maybe a call to Trilogy will help.

Trilogy just reuses the stock PCV. I thought I read somewhere here that using the PCV from the 2003 Cobra was a better idea...for some reason I thought EV-111 was the number, but it appears 03sport007 has the correct number. (see above)

I was just looking to confirm with someone who had done it that using the Cobra PCV was a good move.

I tried to recently purchase an ev-111 at my local auto parts store (autozone) & was told that part is discontinued & they could not get it...

They got me a replacement for that part #....
I checked with an air compressor to ensure new pcv would close under "boost" conditions...

EV-111 is definitely the wrong number. That PCV doesn't look even close to correct. I think it fits the 2V.

I got mine from tascaparts.com, but didn't realise it was the wrong one until I opened the box.

Buy me an EV-253 and you can have my brand new EV-111.
