at 100k I figured I'd just so it, that and I wanted a good Alt that is a step up from OEM. I got underdrives too so it should handle high rpm well. Hoping I got a good one, they say its 100% new..

I cheaped out and got their standard because I REALLY broke the bank this year! But I am very impressed regardless as it stays strong at nights with all lights and interior accents on along with my amps and sub. Money well spent.

Oh and I also went ahead and replaced the starter they sell as well. Scared on the cheap price, but so far waaaay better than the tired stocker I had.

I have the DB 250amp alt and love it, I did destroy it one time but they covered it under warranty. I was running under drives as well, and redlined it at 6350rpm and fried it. They back their products 100% so that was a relief!

Cool. With your lower being larger the alternator spins faster at idle so you made a good choice. I spent a ton too! ;)

Good to know. Today I was driving and the volts NEVER went below 14.0!
Definitely can see the difference.

Just the blower pulley is larger. But I do have it idling at around 1,050 a lot less sluggish.
