Went outside to smoke and guess what comes strolling up next to my MM? A friggin' HUGE black bear!!!! It was about 25-30ft away...I instantly froze...he (or she) took one look at me and walked off in the opposite direction. I'm not an expert on bears, but this sucker was probably around 7ft and who knows how many pounds.
Going to throw my pants and underwear in the washing machine now...

We had a juvenile black bear that use to come down into our back yard to raid the bird feeder, he would have stood about 4' tall. The local DNR agent said raiding a bird feeder is not considered to be a nuisance and just remove the feeder until he realizes he is no longer being feed. I finally got rid of him by throwing firecrackers at it. It has been one year now and no bear.

Well, I'm about to head back to campus to meet up with the rest of my Hydrology class; we're going camping near the Coweeta Hydrolic Research Laboratory tonight.
I've got my anti-bear underwear on...

I have one in my yard all the time ,sometimes he hangs there even when the dog is out but when any people come outside it runs like a marauder on its way to a waffle house at 2 am.
