The v1 is best but it comes from the factory wide open and very sensitive. If your willing to put your mind to it for a bit you can tune it off of v1's site too be just as quiet as the 9500-bell etc. If your looking for cheap get a used escortx50 or it bell sister off ebay for around 150 thats ur best bang for buck. If your leo dont use x band like most states turn it off it will just bug you. Check your local cl for x50's.. Hardwire with visor mount or it can cook on dash and windshield and might be stolen

Im on the fence with them..I want one but they only do good if they have it on. By that I mean, my brother is a leo and I rode with him a bunch of times and hes says there like anything sometimes it works sometimes it dosent. Unless you have a a jammer and the officer has his on it works if u are around a group of people..on a radar system it has a HOLD button where if they see a car at the last minute they hit it and BAM your caught before your exspensive radar detector works...I mean they do work don't get me wrong but anywhere where less traffic and and lasers without a jammer your gettin popped....

Yes instant on!. As long as there's someone in front the rd will pick up the Leo shooting the rabbit!!. Also there's no rd jammer but a laser jammer that's illegal if they find it! How will they find it you ask? If your jammer is on and the Leo keeps getting a jam or error code he will know you have it! So as soon as you see your laser warning go off slow down to psl and turn your jammer off. You want him to get a reading on you befor you pass

Theres works great witnessed it and pulled someone with top dollar one to...he aske if his detector was working...he said I guess not

Hmm if he had a good rd then that means he also had pop protection that for some reason he turned off and the Leo was using pop. A very very rare and odd scenario

Yea that was just because when he had taken it off hold by the time he was doing 80 in a 65...and he said his radar went off by that time it was too late
