View Full Version : The latest on rear control arms...
First of all, thanks to the 30 or so customers we've had, I hope you are enjoying them as much as I am.
I dont have the overhead to keep control arms 'on the shelf' so here's the new plan...
I have about 8 sets at the powdercoater right now yet to be sold.
After this, I will take 10 prepayments before a run is manufactured. I know this is less than ideal for some who have money burning a hole in their pocket, but I gotta do what I gotta do, ya know?
The watts link is in process, we took measurements the other day.
Please e-mail me if you are interested purchasing the control arms being made right now.
Thanks again,
Zack

You can make them fast in a straight line...but that's more than easy.
The corners are where it's at!

Zack:
Received mine yesterday. I must say I'm impressed with the workmanship. I haven't had the time to install them as yet, as I need to find someone around the development with a vice. Otherwise, I'll need the wife's van (ugh) to go down to my local shop to have the bushings pressed out and in. Again, thanks to both you and Mac for your work on our behalf. Looking forward to a better handling MM for sure....

Zach & Mac,
WOW, Great looking parts! I'll be installing them once the weather clears (no garage :( ). I don't have all the power that you guys have, but I'm looking forward to better handling. Seems likes a good deal for the money.
I need 10 orders with prepayment before I can produce new product.
Contact me if you are interested.

I decided to save up for an after market brake kit before I do the arms. I'm probably at least 3 months out on getting the arms.
11 members had their money in today.
The fabricator has been paid, all of your checks have been cashed and a finished product is anticipated by next Friday.
Ill post here again when they have shipped.
Thanks,
Zack

Thanks for the update, Zack! I found a place in West L.A. that'll do the install for $100--can't wait to get 'em in! By the way, The Dealer (Ray Sr.) should've drop-shipped a new black Marauder grille your way. He accidentally erased my credit card info and delayed shipping it to you, so I e-mailed the info to him, but didn't get a reply e-mail (I keep forgetting to call Ray BEFORE 2:00PM Pacific!!!). I will FedEx/UPS my grille + check on Monday to you. Thanks!

Honestly I dont even know if it will be worth doing the Watts link.
I will say this, though.
If and when we make it available, it will be offered to control arm customers only. This will put the ceiling at 60 sets, which is probably more than will be sold anyway.
I suppose I can start the project Monday.
Stay tuned...
