My Daughter has been accepted to ISU (Illinois State University) :banana: She will be going not only for a teaching certificate but also a certificate in Special Education.....damn I'm proud of her!!!!!!!!

I graduated from there in 1985 with an Industrial Technology degree. My son is a senior there and will be getting his Bachelors degree in marketing. Proud is not a big enough word for how I feel about my son.......:bigcry:

Congratulations to you and your daughter! It's a great school. She will love it!

tbone that IT degree was the first one I got in 1976. It is a great degree. Congrats to your son too.

Congrats. Sounds like an awesome kid. The world needs more young people like her. The pay doesn't equate to the level of passion it takes to do that job, then again its not always about money. Hats off to her:beer:

Thanks for all the well wishes!!!! My Mom was a Special Education Teacher, so I kinda have an idea what Megan will be going thru once she get's her degree :bows:

Thats Awesome! My son Tyler just graduated high honors in the same degree from ISU . He was Homecoming King last fall and now he is doing his internship at
Rolling Meadows High School.
Besides teaching , He is coaching football there and he takes the video for the Varsity football games.
She is going to have a blast!
