Got pissed off at the old grill. Mfg discontinued almost all the parts for it. Look what Lowes had waiting for me! A few hours today in the beautiful sunny day putting it together!

Good time to get stuff at HD, Lowes etc is at the end of the season as they have no real area for storage. Be prepared to take it that day though.

They weren't clearancing any of the gas grills. What made me pull the trigger was they had an 18 month 0% finance deal starting the next day. Went back the next day and picked the box up.

Good deal although I grille with charcoal.

Another good deal at HD if they are still running the program is every associate is able to give 10% off just about everything up to $50.00 off. Shopping at the end of the week can get you good deals too if the store is way off from it's weekly sales goal set by corporate. Managers like to meet the sales goals as they translate into trips and bonuses.

I prefer charcoal myself but as I will grill a lot instead of using stove I don't have time to deal with coals on normal days. I'll fire up coals on weekends, etc.

My Weber is 10 years old, awesome grill, I will never own another brand.

You can always throw a piece or 2 of charcoal in it. Or a piece or 2 OD mesquite, hickory, buttonwood, etc.

Just set it off in a corner and it will add he flavor without all the hassle.

If you've ever had fried turkey you'll love this.

I converted my grill, the oil-less fryer and patio heater to natural gas.

We cook turkeys, ribs, wings, pork loins, roasts... just about anything it it. Food tastes great and no oil needed.

I got mine at Big Lots for $69.00 + 20% off. When Lowe's has them on clearance they are around $69.00.

We do the Thanksgiving turkey on the grille. Usually 45 minutes for a 20lb bird. Frees up the oven for other stuff, like pies

Does it give the taste of being cooked on a charcoal grill???

Yes, will grill anything, but prefer the charcoal flavoring. Thought about getting a propane one for the winter so you can just walk out start it, cook and be done...or when you dont want to deal with charcoal...

What's so hard about starting charcoal? Pour it out, stack it and either just lite it or pour some lighter fluid on then lite it. Go inside an prepare the meat like with any grille. 15 min. +/- and grille it up. Taste is so much better imo Easy peezy.

Easy Peezy is - uncover the grill, turn on gas, light grill, prepare whatever your cooking, place on grill, turn off grill when done, turn off gas, let grill cool & put cover back on grill. Best part is I don't have to worry about hot ashes and where to dump said ashes when cold or buy and store lighter fluid and charcoal.

Don't like the small propane tanks either..... only way I'd run out of NG is if I don't pay the bill.

Yessir. Not as strong but definitely adds the charcoal flavor.
I like to take some of my smoking wood, usually mesquite or buttonwood, soak it in water for10-15 minutes. Then I put the wood in a small aluminum pan, like a small banana bread size throw away.
Set it in the corner on top of the flavorizer bars (ask Weber). After 10 or so minutes it starts smoking all of your food.

As for turkey, Rotisserie baby!
