Two comments:

1: You don't need to fry the crap out of street radials like you do drag radials to get good grip.

2: That dash display/gay tach readout looks like it is aimed at the teenage Retard Ricers....not the 70 year old Depends wearing gramps that usually buy new Vettes.

We will wait at least one year to buy the new Vette. We love our corvettes and this new one does everything better.
12.20s stock is fantastic for the base model.

Chevrolet tested 6 Vettes out here for a week about 2 months ago and 2 of them were the not released yet Z07, they were heavily camofloghed but I got plenty of pictures of them.

They stayed at a hotel about a block away from my shop.

It was pretty cool as I was the first guy to get these pictures of the upcoming Z07, not the already released base corvette.

It turned into one of the biggest threads on the forum.

Actually yes, that yellow caliper is stock. The track where the video is record is a well known track where records are usually broken at, they have extremely good track prep as well.

It's fast but it can't outrun ugly.

For a car as well sorted out as the new one is, there is no excuse for its looks.

I saw a red one on the street on the way back from MVXI , from the front, looks like new Vioer, side view, sharp but an arse only it's mother could love.
And the new badge is way too Trans Am like. Needs a screaming eagle on the hood to finish the package

The car in that Hennessey video is also stock... the title of the video says Bone Stock. I think it's not crazy for a manual to run a 12.2 and an auto to run 11.9... especially later in the year, and at a different track

showing me the time slips doesnt prove it stock, track prep can make a big difference I agree, but both viedos neither car left spinning the tires,I really cant see two stock cars being that far apart........
with ET amd MH being so far off the faster car is making 75 more HP than the other
