To all who dont know, I was the one who lost the seal at that high rate of speed in the Marauder. I never thought it would stir up so much commotion. Just so everyone knows, the Marauder is fixed and the Dennis Drive shaft is installed. I drove the car home on the highway for 2 miles and then another mile when off the highway and only lost 1 1/2 quarts of trans fluid! Someone was looking over me that night. One recommendation to all those installing a new shaft, Lube the splines on the driveshaft with a good amount of teflon grease before installation. My shaft was 'hanging up' on the output shaft of the trans and producing a clunking noise when I let off the gas. Anyway, the grease fixed it right up.
On a side note, Is it a go for the Chicagoland meet on January 5th?

I don't think we have to worry about threads being locked down for "looping" around a subject now that we're on the new server. All we gotta watch is the lingo. ;)

Shame you can't make this Mensrea, but there's always next time (if we don't kill each other over drive shafts)

May be a chance to change things, nothing in the other thread was "for sure." Give it a peek, make a suggestion?

BTW, I was shopping in Oak Brook and some kid wanted to know if my MM was the same one he saw getting some stereo upgrades. I figured it was yours when he said it had an SC.
