You can drive a MM in the winter, even with a blower. :)

Those things are darn near indestructible, built like tanks. I had buddy that owned one, darn thing even had reverse.

That would be awesome hook to the back of a marauder and just tow it around...in case you got stuck in the snow...;)

Sadly I woke to snow actually being on the grass today... I walked back into the garage and put the cover on the Marauder for winter. :bigcry:

Rex, have you ever been to the plant? I remember driving by it about 15 times every winter on our way to whoop up on the kids in De Pere, Fond du Lac, Green Bay and Ashwaubenon. Being from a small town in God's Country, I was always dumbfounded that a building could be so big! I remember seeing a couple of these sleds as a kid, but the overwhelming sled of choice was Ski-Doo...

Ah, the good ole' days! :D

Like you, drove past it hundreds of times and knew a bunch of guys that worked there, but never had a chance to visit the plant. I grew up in a small town on the Fond du lac - Green Lake county line, about 20 miles from FDL.

I was an Arctic Cat guy, and yeah, those were the good old days!

Thats what I did Saturday afternoon in anticipation of the cold and the snow....snooooooze for a few months...get the wheels refinished and a couple new tires for the rear...awaiting 4 inch tips from Cone Engineering and I need to freshen up under the hood a bit.
I know that even after taking all the extra care to drive a car in Chicago winters...you can't beat those road chemicals regardless of undercoatings inner coatings any kind of coatings...you do not come out on top. Never have and never will

No problems ever with RWD in winters, heck thats all I ever driven and ABS made it better.
