My Audiophile 6 just died. Would like to replace it with an updated model, aux input, etc. Any suggestions appreciated, cost not a huge factor, just looking for plug and play to existing harness, speakers, etc. Thanks.

Alot of us have installed the Pioneer AVIC-X940BT. Has GPS, DVD, CD, USB, SD, IPod, Android, IPhone support. Just need an installation kit and steering wheel control interface.

I have the Pioneer Avic940 and love it. My favorite is streaming Pandora and downloading my entire music library to a USB drive. Put it on random and zero lag time between songs with USB. Awesome sound quality even with stock speakers.

I picked mine up off of Amazon.com for around $530 I believe.
I purchased mine from this seller.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006Y443TU/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie= UTF8&psc=1
You will also need a wiring harness (Metra 70-5520)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WTF34/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie= UTF8&psc=1
In-dash mount kit (Metra 95-5817)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024L8I02/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie= UTF8&psc=1
And if you want to retain steering wheel controls (volume up/down, skip) SWI&PS - PAC Steering wheel control interface

The only downside to going with aftermarket is that if you have a factory cd-changer it will no longer work and also the factory sub-woofer will not work either.

My factory subwoofer works fine with the Pioneer. CD changer does not and I don't care. I wish I had kept the factory head unit just for nostalgia.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The Pioneer looks likes a good choice.

You'll like it. Let us know if you have questions with the installation.
I have an install question. Did you have any clearance issues with the 2 Din install? Someone I talked to said that you had to modify some of the duct work behind the radio?
Is this so?

Not the duct work.
You will need to remove the small lip and the top and bottom of the opening. DO NOT remove the lip on the right or left side.
It will make stuffing the wires behind the new radio easier if you remove 2 or 3 inches of the shelf inside the opening.
