What can I do about having to use California's 91 Octane gas?

Is there any 93 Octane in Northern Cal?

Will the MM run well on 91 Octane?

What about with mods?

Thanks,

David

Should run okay with 91. Performance will be off slightly. If your really worried, you could by an SCT tuner from Dennis, specify you want the tune for 91 octane, and then load it into your ECC. Depending on where I'm at, I sometims have to use 91, but, I have one of Dennis's chip, programmed for both 91 and 93. A simple toggle of the switch and I'm running the correct set up. With the '04, you can't use the chip, so a tuner will be in your future.

I don't know anything about the mods, but I'm running fine stock on the 91. If there is 93 around, prepare to bend over at the pump. I know you can get even higher octane at some race tracks, but bend over X2.

Update your records, you can use a chip in the '04 after all.

I have stage 1 mods and use 91 (only available in So Cal) and have not noticed any problems - yet.
