Happy thanksgiving! Tonight I head out to Rock Bottom Brewery in Arlington, VA. My friends and I have made that our thanksgiving eve HQs for the past 8 years. Friends have moved in and out of the area but this is the one night everyone is back in town and we catch up and be thankful for the good times we've had and the good times to come.

We're heading over to my youngest son's house for a family Thanksgiving dinner (only about 45 minutes away). He has hosted the event since 2007 and puts on an excellent spread with both families (his wife's too) bringing their favorite items. We'll probably get there around 1:00 PM to start the warm up festivities and watch a little football on the big screen TV.

Thanks and too all of you as well! Just got back from Sarasota. We had to meet my son. He has a tough work schedule for the Holiday weekend, so we decided to meet since he couldn't make it all the way to the house instead. Had a un-traditional Feast (Grouper fillet :drool:) at a nice restaurant near Siesta Key. First time no Thanksgiving at our house in 20 years!:eek: But, it was all good!;)
