For those that choose not to drive their Marauder thru winter snow and salt or who choose to keep it out of commuter traffic etc. Show a pic of your grocery getter, home depot hauler, winter beater.

Here is mine although this is an earlier pic of it, it stilll looks the same..I'm the second owner..bought it with 87,000 on it Aug, of 2011 and now has 127,000 on it. Power seats all work too. I pretty much drive it every day. After my truck sells (prolly in spring as it is away for winter now) I will part with this and get another later model daily driver and get down to it and the Marauder only.

I love those box Caprices for some reason.

I have a beater pickup I use that I want to sell and get something else that doesn't have as many miles and doesn't use as much gas for the winter and still is RWD for the fun in the parking lots

This is my daily driver / winter beater... I run a 215/60R16 snow tire, has no issues at all. Luckily I typically drive a development / test car anyways!

1997, 3.8L V6, 5 speed manual, T-Tops.... Averages 30.5 mpg... Tuned with HP Tuners.

I picked it up with 124k on it, one owner car. My fathers car repair shop took care of the car since 36k miles in 2002... So I had full history. Its a decent beater car!

I bought a 2002 F-250 from my work for $800 over two years ago, maybe close to three years. Rubber floor, roll up windows, manual locks, ice cold A/C, super hot heat and now has 170,000+ trouble free miles.

My daily driver is a 2012 Nissan Versa. No power seats, locks, or windows. Dumping a lot of miles on it and didn't need to spend money on gizmos.

Other than that, still got the Crown Vic http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=82282 The carb started to crap out on my so its still at the shop. The mechanic sure seems to having trouble getting it working right.

2004 Grand Marquis LS Limited. Limited trim consists of all standard LS options plus 2-tone heated seats with 'LIMITED' stitching in the backrests, door sill plates, chrome mirror caps, 2-tone 16" alloy wheels (identical in shape to the standard LS rims, just...two-tone -- mine are roached so am running steelies in the winter, Marauder rims in the summer), and fender badges. IIRC it was only available on Spruce Green, Arizona Beige, and DTR cars.

Here's mine...all it cost me was a junkyard engine and a day to put it in. 32.5 MPG on average. It even doubles as a truck sometimes....Winter isn't so much of an issue out here on the Left Coast, but commuting 80 miles/day in the carpool lane is not healthy for the paint job on any car here in So Cal.

'08 F350 Lariat Super Crew, work truck and daily driver. Nothing fancy. When I'm feeling brave I fire up my '86 4Runner. Not very comfortable to drive in the winter, I backed into a light pole and exploded the rear window. Toyotas don't have heaters that can keep up with an open window at -30 C!

2004 GMC Sierra Crew Z71. 170k miles and still going strong.

Not really a winter/DD, it is just a truck for the family. I use it in rain, or when I am working in dirt/mud. It gets washed when it rains and a couple of times a year. Once a year it is waxed, just before little league opening day as it a float puller.

If the vic's got a Variable venturi on it / there is a Holly replacement for it ,direct bolt on.

My mechanic seems to be having a hard time with the Holley replacement. http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2707880#Post2707880

Yeah, the last couple winters have had some freak snow storms. We had over 8' of snowfall last year. South of us (where the pics were taken, trees are few and far between and its not uncommon for weather to shut things down.

As for the stock trailer, agree but if I were the driver I'd be more concerned about my own safety. The cows were on their way to becoming steaks anyway!

Sadly 127k....

Has 6000k HID's in it with LED DRL's already along with my weathertech mats... Double Din goes in tomorrow when brother can help since I can't do much due to surgery recovery. All the other LED's may get swapped out then too, have them all in stock luckily.

Performance parts get ordered once guy pays me tomorrow for the Camaro I sold.

Put the snow tires on the Town Car this month. With the traction control and Snow tires it goes pretty well in the snow and is still fun to drive thanks to a Mo's tune.

Well, we really don't have winter either, but it is supposed to get down to 48 degrees tonight with a high of 62 tomorrow, burrrr! ;) But, I help keep the miles off the Marauder and drive my 1993 Silverado and 1986 Mustang GT.

Only drove it to work once last month. Been trying not to drive it at all since there is some possible issue with the tensioner and guide on the passenger side of the motor.

Love my daily driver lol but hate it cause it was either go the "get boosted" route or save the marauder and get a daily driver route...lol

The wife's winter car has been in the garage more than on the road. The wife drives the Mark VII with snow tires. In December it was down while I pulled the dash to replace the heater core. Now it is down while I replace the blower motor. We have the Jeep for when the weather gets bad but it has seen more use this year than most. I put snow tires on the Town Car and have driven it through some really surprising conditions. I live in the county and the snow this year has been fun! At least I have not had to break out the good stuff from the Garage.

Is winter over yet? December and January have been rough enough here to make me want spring quickly.

The dodge is my favorite daily driver, gotta love 25mpg. The LTD is what i go to pick up in that rare moment when we do have snow ha, its just way to much fun to resist.
