I just took off the PCV. The seal is like stuck on it. I see some tabs, but with some gentle prying nothing has moved. So, before I break something, how do I get the seal off of the PCV? See tab in pic:

There was no need to remove the whole thing. The PCV just rotates a quarter-turn.

Grab the seal with one hand and use a pair of pliers to grip the square part of the valve and try turning (unscrewing) the valve. The valve is sort of threaded in there.

Heat it with a hair dryer.

Hair Dryer worked for me! If you don't take that elbow off, You gotta go to the dealer and get a whole new line, that's got the elbow attached. Around $40!

That's all that was required. Exactly what Loud & Overlord said. Worked perfect. Just took it for a quick spin and checked...No leaks!

Oh yeah! Thanks to Curless for the right Ford part number, too!

Thanks for ALL the replies! This place is great!
