I will be selling (sadly) my MM and before I list her, I'd like some realistic opinions about what the 4-sale price should be at (be it sobering or not).....I bought her new in '03 Vin #2MEHM750V03X636314 .....I thought I would ask in this forum because there's enough of you guys (after looking at the condition and options) that would give me a close appraisel number.
Basically a stock '03A with these few options: Kenwood "Excelon" radio w/6 speakers & 2 side mounted tweaters, 10 cd changer, Trunk organizer, Tinted windows, Slotted rotors, Diablo chip, Stainless inserts, JTL cold air induction (still in the box) and remote starter..........Recent services: -Full tranny flush @ 60K mi. -Coolant flush w/ new thermostat @70K -4 slotted rotors & pads @ 65K -Oil change every 1500 miles w/ synthetic blend......My MM has always been pampered and garage kept (never once saw snow) that's about it fellows.......what should be my asking price?

Very nice car, I only buy junkers so cant give a valid value, has to be between 8 and 12k. maybe more if you have all your original documentation etc. Good Luck

Current miles??? If 70-80

Looking like 10k IMHO could hold for 12 IF it is immaculate and you find the right buyer

I think this is an accurate price assesment without more info.

I'd say the $8500-$10500 depending on buyer and amount of effort put into listing for sale and where.

Not less than 12K, the right buyer is out there, you have a very nice car, advertise.

I would say $10.5-11k..but start higher than that..Maybe ask $11,900 - $12,500 range and see what happens..Might be better to wait til spring when car fever hits again too. Can always come down on price, but don't want to price it too high and keep them away.

KBB says $10,885 in Excellent Condition with 70K miles. So, the 10-12K range seems to be the right ballpark. GLWS.

Main thing will be how long do you wish to sit on the car @ a for sale price of $12,000? I thnk that will scare away many people. I like to price mine ~$500-$999 above what I am willing to take for the car.

I got a 03 300B with a built trans, built rear end, trilogy kit, full exhaust, yada yada yada.... needing only ac dryer replaced and hood painted for $12,900... so market is all over the place on these cars.

GLWS as it looks like a very nice and well maintained car to me!

Also never use pictures of it being freshly washed as your for sale add.... IE wet door jams or the ground being wet. Everyone knows that hides imperfections and assumes you do not keep it clean all the time. Just my 2 cents...

sold my 03 with 55kmiles, I was 3rd owner, not perfect car but nice. box stock. I was willing to wait for the right buyer, that is the key. got 13500.00 but I didn't have to sell it so I could wait till I got my price. If it is a money issue and it has to go, take the hit and get out from under it. good luck. V

For a comparison I picked up a blue 2 owner last week with 66k for 10,600 from a dealer out the door. Certainly not garage kept (needs a limited360 detail) I would say 1000-1200 to do the things I want to bring it back to its former glory.

I only paid that much because it was a blue, and I couldn't hold in my excitement when I went to see it.

looks ultra-fine and if I was looking for another (last year I thought of hunting down an 04 blk but if this was available then I would have jumped on it) I would buy. I think your price suggestions are right on 10k - 12k
If it were a 03 DTR I would buy//:lol:

So many factors in this. These cars are all over the place value wise.

For instance last year I was looking at a really nice black 03 with 105K miles but it had lots of mods such as stainless works headers/exhaust, lowered, drilled and slotted rotors, etc. They where asking 14,900 and had it for a long time.

On the complete other end of the spectrum there is a silver birch 04 with 219K miles and they still want 7,000.

I also could have bought a DTR 04 with 120K miles for 9,000 from the owner directly but he traded in to the dealer and it sold quick for 12,000.

Just list what you gotta have for it and play the game...............

Appreciate all the comments and varied points of view!......by the way, forgot to list current mileage 74,500......it's never been a daily driver and will probabely never get over 75,000 miles since I don't use it anymore.
I was thinking 10.5K absolute bottom line....so I'm not that far off from the consensus, maybe a little under.......I'm in no rush so I have the pleasure to sit back abit........I will be listing it on this board soon. I listed it local yesterday (CL south Jersey for 11.5K) I didn't think it was proper to post that ad here......................Than ks, Scippy

I just bought mine from it's original owner for $13,500. Happily paid it, I talked to the guy several times, very honest and forthcoming, had all the service records, original jacket in my size, thank you letter from Mercury, the whole thing. Black 300A with a spoiler. I drove 800 miles round trip for the car. A Marauder lover will pay the money for the right car, and yours looks like the right car for someone.

SS........Good luck with the MM!...I remember when I saw ther MM for the first time at the NY auto show back in '01 .....nothing impacted me more at the time.......bought it from the Manhattan auto group late the next year for 38K....I wonder what the future 'value" holds for the Marauders???

If only I could drive and share in the excitement, I could come see that new blue beast... then you would hate me since it hasn't had the 'LIMITED360' treatment...

Just looked on CL around here and some peoples asking prices kind of blew me away. 2 Black 03 Marauders both right around 50k miles and both want a little under $20k.
