We know there is a spoiler available the question is ...what does it look like and does it have a light in it ? Is it between $200 & $600

Has anyone found a picture of it , a part no. and a price ???

I for one, hope and pray to never see a spoiler on a Marauder.

It will be a dealer installable option in the fall. Late August I imagine. It's a standard deck lid spoiler mounted on two pedestals. Reminicent of the spoiler on the 69/70 Mustang Fastbacks and Cougar Eliminators...

I'm noticed convinced it'll look good. But, that's why it'll be optional. :)

I couldn't agree more. One of the things I made sure of with my dealer was that they not do anything silly like that to my car.

Currently available for $375 US with free shipping is the slick rear spoiler as used on the Bondurant Roush built Cobra Vics, call them at 1-800-59-Roush, or log on to www.roushperf.com, They are in essence similar to that used on the 94-96 Impalas. I have one ordered for my Vic, but they will fit the 03 Marauder, since has the same Crown Vic rearend styling.

PIc below is how they look on the Vic, which would be the same as your Marauder

The new Mercury Marauder brochure I got in the mail this week shows the Marauder spoiler, it doesn't look bad, but I'm just another one of the ones that would never really want to see one on my Marauder.

The New Marauder and Old Marauders beg to be personalized. Since the first one was designed for Nascar , hot-rodding it comes natural. :D

Actually doesn't look that bad...

I always thought a small lip spoiler was pretty tasteful (like the Impala SS) until I saw the new Cobra's spoiler. I think it's hideous.

Rancor, I agree... 03 Cobra spoiler is garbage... They should've put a traditional pedestal spoiler on there, or just left it off....Ah well, thank god for Spoiler delete options.. :)

Ordered the 03MM spoiler today - I feel that I want the back end to look different and more destinctive. The 2W7Z-5444210-AAB (@ aprox. $250.00 Blk. painted is the spoiler that is shown in the new photos and brochure that is at ford.mercury.com Marauder site.
However the parts Mgr. at my dealer said the order detail showed the part as a 1K status which means it not yet available - ????? I sure would like to know when I can get one.

Hi guys,

I am an Impala SS Owner and have been carefully watching how the Marauder project unfolds. I say project because all things deserve tweaks here and there to make them just that much better.

I think the spoiler looks great. Not to much as the case with the Impala. Just right.

While I will not get the 03, or probably the 04, (we'll see) I do have serious plans on purchasing an 05. Especially if they offer the convertible...supercharger... and well I can go on.

Bottom line is that I wish you guys all the luck with the mods and I look forward to joining the likes of ownership of the next BBB soon. :D

I agree Larry!

If they didn't like my "Floods" - what the hell will they think Now?

Think it'll really keep the Rear End Down Logan, once you've installed Dennis's Metal Matrix Drive Shaft, to compliment the other ugrades with the Engine / Tranny Chips, and 4.10 Gears, once you raise to the Speed-Rated Limits of the Tires?

So, when are you going to upgrade to either FOMOCO's or AIMSOIL's Full Synthetic Lubricants for the Power and Drive Train?

;)

The tires are already Z rated, so there's no issue there at all...

Don't know if I'll do a spoiler or not.... We'll see when the time comes. :)
