What is a good 'homepage' ?

I've used MSNBC as my home page for the last few years.
I liked seeing what was happening in the world when I jumped on the web.
But, I am SO TIRED of their ever increasing left wing propaganda that I cannot take it anymore!

What would fellow members suggest is a better alternative as a home page?

I use Yahoo but their news articles leave something to be desired. Google is good maybe even better. News max is another choice for news only, I have that on my favorites.

Joe, it seems that one can't get everythng in one page now.

I would recommend a home page that is a search engine and a select few favorites to narrow in on news, special interests, and business.

MM.net is my favorite for drama, however.

I just set "XFinity by Comcast" as my opening homepage. It has news, sports, entertainment, TV listings, etc. It also gives access to my E-mail. That is my 1st tab for IE. MM.Net is always the 2nd. :D

I use news.bbc.co.uk myself. I like the getting the world news without (mostly, anyway) a political slant.
