Here are some pics of my 1/2 a Marauder .
A 2003 Mercury LSE .
It will do while i am searching for a Marauder .
It has the Handling Package / Performance Package .
All original / super clean / 1 owner car .
It was a special order car built June / 2003 .
In 2003 as of Jan 1 / 2003 Ford said to dealers it was unavailable .

Emailed the nice guy that has the MERCURY LSE website he told me about the above info and said my car was a job 2 and he never ever seen one and was quite surprised about my car .

They are super nice cars. I found one for a friend of mine. I just double checked the build date on his and it is May 8, 2002, it is a 2003 (which puts it in the last run of 2002's going down the assembly line.

The VIN starts with 610XXX which is right for the May/June build time frame. I'll have to check with the LSE website guy. This car may be #1 then...Enjoy the car, they are real sleepers until you hit the turns.

Its pimped out with the roof and chrome sills and whitewalls .
I have noticed a lot of Grand Marquis in Florida done like that .

That may be a one of a kind with the carriage top. I have never seen the LSE and top option together.

I love these cars. For anyone who wants an alternative daily driver to the Marauder, these cars are it. Same feel, same parts(mostly), just less HP. Bought a pre-production (May 8, 2002 build date) '03 LSE and sold it to friend a few months back. He loves it.

The build date on mine is February 2002, I know this isnt the site but I wonder if anyone has ever considered a registry for the LSEs.

It has a hood ornament.
I saw a silver one of these the other day... thought it was some Foogazi stuff due to the ornament. Guess not
