Okay so I'm selling my door panels and I quoted shipping to be 270 including the boxes from ups. That is ridiculous! Anyone know of a cheaper way? I heard of greyhound so I may try them but anyone ever had any experience shipping the door panels

The last time that I shipped 4 door panels via Greyhound PackageXpress (Aug'2013 - MI > NJ) the co$t was $67.45 (38Lbs insured for $220). *Made my own box with a moving pad/quilt inside as padding.

Fed Ex Ground service, if it's cheaper than I could drive there, I got a deal.

I was going to let them box it but it was 170 for shipping and like 100 for the shipping supplies.

Yea I checked greyhound they quoted me right at 60 to ship them and it will only take a day. I have to figure out how to box them or pack them up.

I went to go ship a late Xmas gift the other day, it was a book of less than 200 pages, cost me $12.00 to buy the book and then UPS wanted $15 to send it from Connecticut to Tennessee. I literally told them that they're insane and will never see another dollar from me. I went to the post office and sent the same item to the same location for under $3.00

from what i've observed ups isnt for the average shipper, its more for bulk and large items, but would have to say ups packages arrive in alot better condition than usps.

Grayhound, but the package must be picked up at the station. Wrap it yourself and I do not think they can insure it.

That's what I was telling people about shipping that wanted parts from my totaled Marauder that costs were expensive especially trying to have them ship a rear bumper cover. Guess that's why I still have it and the door panels.
