If your going to go with a new TB I'd suggest a 75mm ported. That way if later down the line you decide you want more you won't be kicking yourself in the butt for buying the 70mm instead. I bought my 75mm ported for a really reasonable price from a guy on ebay (I forgot his name on there) and I was really happy. Dropped my best time at the track about .30-.40 seconds (but that'll be different from your cars because different modifications) and the thing is really nice looking. Guy buys and ports then sells them IIRC

The underdrives you mentioned in your post on the other site will be a nice lower cost upgrade too.
The 410s you mentioned will help it get off the line but you'll need a tune for it (unless you already got a tune for 410s also from mo's) and the headers are nice but to get the most out of them you should have tune with them too so maybe if possible do them both at the same time
(Sorry can't reply in the other forum I'm on a leash there....)

OH and I think but not 100% sure that Summit has their own brand of underdrive pulleys for the engine that works. But like I said not 100% sure. I'll try and check really quick

A hair over $100 and made of aluminum. I'm pretty sure these things are the 6 rib pulleys but if you want to get that just make sure it is

yikes well thats crazy glad i can reach you on here..thanks for all the info these mods add up rather quickly geez lol gears and longtuubes with the tune all at once seems like i have alot of saving to do should be a fun summer full of work and overtime :depress: what are your thoughts on cams and stall converters or torque converters ? im new to this

so you recommend these over the steeda uds ?

Mods always add up. And it seems a lot of times once you get started you keep going.
You don't need to do them all at the same time. Headers don't require a tune but don't expect too much with them without a tune. So maybe do the headers then the gears+tune. You need a tune for the gears. That way you don't buy the gears and need to buy another tune then get the headers and they're meh because you don't have it in the tune for them.
Cams are a great way to get some power but what cams you get depend on possible future plans because some are meant for N/A some are for Nitrous some for turbos/superchargers so it's best to get some idea of what type of future plans you may have for it to decide what type of cams you want. Torque converters are like witchcraft to me when it comes to deciding the stall and everything so I'll let someone else chime in about them.
As far as Summit VS Steeda they look to be the same pieces except the Summit is aluminum. But the choice as to which brand is up to you. IIRC Summit brand ones is made by some large name brand parts manufacturer with just their name on it. I think some of the people on the other site have used the Summit brand ones so maybe ask their opinions on it? But in my mind aluminum is lighter=less rotating mass. Keep in mind though with UDs you might have problems with keeping the battery charged if you have a crazy sound system or something that takes a lot of juice due to the fact your spinning the alternator slower but you can change the pulley on just the alternator to make it spin quicker again

Just looked it up. Apparently Summits UDs are made by Trick Flow

Hang on don't buy that one. Didn't notice it didn't include the dampener. Those are a crapshoot
These are the Summits you'd want

^^^Includes and dampener so won't kill the seals and make the thing shake to death. Not aluminum though

Lookin' good!
As for mods, I would go with a JMOD and gears, but not at the same time. I got a kick out of doing each mod one at a time to see just how much they changed the car individually and then together. For the price of headers, I wouldn't have gotten them unless I was certain I was going with boost to get the most out of them.

Appreciate it bro. How do you like your 4.10s what's it like on the highway ? Gas mileage ? And I guess exhaust noise like how high does the rpms go is it unbearable for a daily driver. ?

Insulate the outside, looks good, but take 2 minutes and line up all the hose clamps and make that thing look like a clean install.:2thumbs:

The outside.
BTW ... When you get ADTR's intake pipe you may (?) want to shield that too. My installation .....
http://www.gdmjoe.com/gothvic/engine/enginebay.jpgUsed the following ...
http://www.gdmjoe.com/gothvic/engine/heat_shield_large.jpg
And covered the bottom with the http://www.gdmjoe.com/coolit.jpg Aluminized Heat Barrier™ ...
http://www.gdmjoe.com/gothvic/engine/coolit13500-1.jpgThe result was a 110-120 degrees difference between the temp' of the bottom of the shield and the temp' of the intake tube.

cer0413 - Where can I find this and can it be used on a jlt shield?
I purchased it from JCWhitney™ several years ago and have seen it advertised in (say) JEGs, Summit, etc..
See not reason why it couldn't be used on a JLT shield ... It's just aluminized heat barrier with a sticky back-side.
