I'm in the process of selling my '98 Honda Civic DX, and this guy wants to buy it. He also has an Acura RSX with approx 162k miles. It's a good looking car. Just wondering if they have any known issues that I should be aware of if I decided to do some trading. I've always been a Honda guy as far as daily drivers, but never owned an Acura. Any info provided will be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine bought his new in 2002. He doesn't take good care of it and it has been great. Just over 200,000 miles still with the original clutch.

Had a buddy buy one with 130,000 miles on it was good for about a year but a lot of parts went so he put a lot of money into it but since then it's been running strong it has about 160,000 on it now With no issues

An Acura RSX is just a fancy Honda Civic hatchback, the reliability is still there that comes with Honda products. I would just have checked out first by a trusted mechanic.

Yea. I'm going to drive it and check the usual oil, water and trans fluid for burned smell. He drives it daily. I like the fact that he drove it to meet me and we actually never discussed any sale or trade for it. I brought it up after we discussed the price of my car. Here's the civic I'm selling.

A girl from work has an 03 RSX Type S with the 6 speed manual. She really likes it.

A friend of mine had one at one point, he either wrecked it or traded it on his S2000. Regardless, it was stupid fast. Acura's a good name, especially if taken care of.
