Somehow a 281 emblem on the car doesn't seem right.

Logan, DUDE!!!!

How did you do that...it's, as they say on "Thunderbirds", F.A.B!

PLEASE tell us how this was done...I want it...I want it...I want it...

Photoshop? Nope. They're on racerx88's car. He had a buddy of his make them up for him...

From the looks of it, it should just be the Arial italic font. Any 'ol graphics shop can make it up in vinyl lettering for cheap cheap.

I would choose a God's Head symbol and the lettering: "ROMEO V8" as I believe they are built at the Romeo engine plant (or that may have changed now).

281, 282, 283, whatever...The numbers just don't look BIG enough on the fender. Ditto 4.6L, the numbers are just not high enought for my liking.

"4600 DOHC" resting between crossed American and checkered flags, ala the 427 badges of the mid '60's, placed on lower front fenders, aft of the wheel opening...

Hmmm...maybe not.

But that would be telling.... :)
THe less badges and info to give them, the better.

How about if I forward the picture to Bob White and ask them...would that be OK, racerx88?

Go right ahead.

I had those made up after I got tired of people pulling along side and GAWKING trying to fugure out what the car was. Had a guy run right through a busy intersection because he was too busy looking over his left shoulder at my car! He missed a big truck by just a couple feet.

I've also got the "4.6L DOHC 32V" on the trunk lid as well. The colors match my pin stripes. Will post some more pics later.

This "gawking" has a lot to do with why many of us bought this b**ch, once she came to market. It's also one of many, many reasons why most of us love her today.

Paint her up any way you want, just deliver her promise at the stop light.

OK, I've forwarded racerx88's creation to Bob White Decals...I asked if the word "Marauder" could also be made in colors other than red. Don't get me wrong, the red looks nice, and I know a lot of you have the red bumper inserts, I just like blue better...shouldn't be any problem for them to make the decals in any color schemes we want...

If they can't/won't do it...racer, do you think your buddy who made yours would be willing to do a few side jobs???

I like racerx's graphics alot. However, since I've been running black steelies, the stealth look has really been growing on me. How about a piece to cover up the MARAUDER lettering on the bumper. :)

Here's the pic of the trunk lid decal.

Any sign shop should be able to make whatever colors/styles any of you want/need. The "4.6L DOHC 32V" decal is 1/2" tall, and the "Marauder" decal is 1 inch tall. The colors I used match the pin stripes I have on the car in "champagne" and "burgandy metalic".

What do these pin stripes look like? I'm currious...

Nothing outlandish. Just a double stripe starting above the parking light in the front and running all the way to the taillight on each side.
