If there is ANY noise after the rear end / gears are installed they were installed WRONG! New gears should be as quite as stock gears were when your car left the factory.

I'm talking about the noise from the higher rpms like engine/muffler noise.

Going from 3.27's to 4.10's will increase the RPM's about 200 to 300 at normal highway speeds...... She'll never notice it.

I had an 03 Sport and never got over 23 hwy..All stock..no mods..I'm guessing with 4.10 you loose 2-3 mpg hwy so around 20..city maybe 1-2 so around 14-16.. sometimes city can improve since it gets the big car moving into the powerband easier.depends on how you keep your foot on or off the go fast pedal..lol Aluminum drivehsafat would be recommended and tailshaft extension.

Any CVPI has the extension housing..aluminum driveshaft is shorter than steel one thus the extension housing..I;ve seen them on ebay, junkyard, I know you are on Cv.net..ask them..someone prolly has one
