It depends where you want to mount them.

It depends where you want to mount them.

ill be mounting them in the door panels so when i open the door the lights will come on with the interior lights

The easiest way is to remove the door panels, install the lights, run the wires to a connector so you can remove the panels when needed, continue running the wires into the main harness, thru the tube that the rest of the wires run thru, then connect to the footwell light.

I may install mine under the front and rear bumpers and hook em to the parking lights...see that on a website...

The design will begin to fade after a hour of constant use.

That's what I'm planning. I'll wire it to my engine light kit so it turns on with the remote control and will flash, dim and fade in and out with the rest of the lights.

Just an FYI... I left one of the lights powered on for about 10 hours and it got too hot to hold in my hand. Nothing wrong with the light, I just wouldn't install it into anything plastic or rubber and keep it on for hours.

Im also thinking how it would look pointed up at the hood liner, where to mount and if it would be distorted.

Has to be at a right angle to the surface for it not to be distorted.

I was thinking of mounting it possibly in the radiator cover with shims or homemade bracket to offset the angle to make it look right. When the weather gets warmer ill have to take a better look. Anything is possible with duct tape, jb weld, and bubble gum:lol:
