Toyota Tundra engine got pulled at my friends shop. Which part doesn't belong? Hint, it won't fall out if you turn the block over. :D

Looks like you have a broken off valve head stuck on the piston....
bet she didn't crank much psi on the compression check.
Is it now a 3V cylinder?

Less than a 3v...
FS: Valve heads, $8.00!

What caused that....?
Maybe a few too many revs on a -5 degree morning??

Timing belt slipped. Customer swears he was off the pedal and going slow when it happened. Getting the torque convertor bolts out was fun considering it wouldn't turn over.

Interference engines driven by rubber bands.....errrrr......I mean....timing belts are a bee-atch when they get old!
You never know.....I saw somebody driving by at @ 35 mph blow 2 rods out of the engine.......and he was just cruising along.
I walked over to the now stopped car to see what all the mechanical mayhem was about.
There was most a rod laying in the street in a pool of hot oil.

True, there's a lot of mechanical energy and mayhem going on in engines as it is. Controlled explosions ftw! :) I will take chains over rubber bands though!

What year was this tundra? Did I read this correctly? Timing belt, not chain?

I think it was a 2007. I know the 4.7l 2000 to 2009 Tundras had belts. The 4.6l and 5.7s had chains.
