The rubber elbow to the PCV valve cracked and was leaking on my MM. It triggered the check engine light (CEL), and showed codes PO171 and PO174 (Right and Left banks lean) -- if I recall correctly -- photos attached.
The Ford OEM replacement assembly is ~$50 retail (and available for less from other vendors). I checked with local parts stores, and none had a rubber 19/32" 90º elbow to replace the only defective part of the hose. I also went online, and even Dorman doesn't offer a simple rubber 19/32" 90º vacuum/emissions elbow.
19/32" is the hose size for a 5/8" barb, which is what the PCV valve nipple is. The hose is commonly available wound up in a package from auto parts retailers. You will find the kinks formed when it is constrained by the packaging to be permanent, but for my repair, it didn't matter.
I went to a local Menards (a "big box" building supplies store - like Lowe's and Home Depot), and searched for an elbow.
What I came up with is a "poly" NIBCO brand "PEX" (tubing used for household water lines) 3/4" 90º elbow. I cut two 1 5/8" long pieces of 19/32" rubber emissions/PCV/vacuum hose to replace the cracked rubber adapter that connects the PCV nipple to the OEM plastic tube.
The PEX fitting is also available in brass, which is preferable to the white colored plastic elbow.
Total cost involved should be well under $10.
***NOTE*** -- the PEX 3/4" fittings actually measure a 5/8" o.d.

The two short 19/32" hoses I cut for adapting the improvised repair:
