That molding normally comes on the glass and I'm not sure if it's available separately ...you can check your local dealer or maybe a glass shop that may have it from a broken rear glass.

I've had to re-glue mine, same area. I've noticed quite a few Marauders at MV9 with the strip sagging and becoming unglued. Always seems to be the passenger side.

Maybe someone can chime in with a part #?

Yep mine sags on the passenger side, waiting for warmer weather to clean the channel and then re-glue it.

I used a sealant that was recommended on this forum for this problem. It was thinner than regular sealant made to ooze down into cracks. I need to redo mine. Dont think I cleaned the old glue out enough. Mine is sagging again.

That is glued to the glass, you can use clear silicone to reattach it. No need to order a new one. The original is bonded to the edge of the glass but with a little UV and water intrusion over the years it loosens up. clean the edge of the glass and the channel and rebond it with clear silicone. Prop something underneath it to hold it tight to the glass till it dries. Richy

Mine started to sag, so I went to my local Safelight. They came out, cleaned it, glued it and sent me on my way. No charge.

I wonder if your local safelight might have a piece. Not sure how universal they are, but if they don't, they may know a place that does.

safelite told me that they don't repair them anymore they only replace them.. got a quote for 280.00 plus mobile service to come out to the house 35.00

then the cost to re-tint the window will cost 75.00

Nothing is cheap anymore:mad2:

so i have to find a way to fix this

im beginning to believe this car had one of them landau roofs and was taken off

If your GM had a landau roof, there would be holes from the bolts to help mount it in place.

Sorry, thought you still had the moulding.. Go to the junk yard and peel one off of another rear window. It can come off in one piece but you have to start from the bottom and work it off. It is around the glass and not bonded to the window channel where the glass sits.. I checked this out because I am reshooting my roof and hood when the weather breaks and I want to remove that and the front one and with coaxing, it will come off. The warmer you can make it, the more pliable it becomes. Thus easier to take off..

You can use contact cement or silicone. Go grab one off of a junkyard car. Gm,cv or marauder
