So a year ago I sell my Kenny Brown Supercharged Marauder (the first one they did, ya Macs now) to buy a stang... my good friends in the tuning business tell me "don’t buy someone's abortion" and I am like "dude I had it leakdown'd and compression tested, dyno'd and have all receipts, its fine" They said "DUDE save as much as you are spending on the car to spend to get it right"

Get it dyno tuned by the man, get 435 to the wheels, everything looking good... so I head to the track, 12.2 at 118.... things looking decent. Second pass I hear god tell me "you ass, they told you not to buy a modded car" and then bam......... smoked four pistons, busting the skirts off the pistons, smokin the plugs, dinging the crap out of the heads....Can you say fuel issues?

Well, almost a year (and a couple of stops at some shops that will remain nameless-- FYI don’t pay anyone for labor before they do it, and only pay for parts when they actually are planning on ordering them) later the car is in final assembly at Paul’s High Performance (Expensive but sweet!). Car had a SHM long block, with plastic intake and stock PI cams... we wont even talk about the interesting collection of parts that came out of that engine... and an SQ S trim. The previous owner was not to blame, he had a nice conservative tune and the thing would of held up for him for ever

This is what I got going in.
SQ-T trim upgraded blower
After cooled
Renegade Racing Ported Bullitt intake
Little bit of Fox Lake Stage II heads
Some nice aggressive blower cams
And some more renegade racing engine magic.

Had an Aeromotive A1000 with controller, now sold in favor of a Weldon pump with -12 to the pump, -10 to the engine and -8 return, 55lb injectors with a PHP fuel rail. All controlled by the EEC (cool as hell)

Many thanks to the three wise men (Renegade Racing, SCT Guy, and Paul) for putting this thing together for me, and doing it right. Now all I have to do is wait for the final dyno tune (two weeks PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE)

So in a blatant effort at making up for a loss of cash, girlfriend, social life and countless sleepless nigths, here's the total list of mods I will have in two weeks.

Bill: Are you coming to Indy? I want you to tell me how the rear end of my MM looks at the track? Sure would be nice to have a "Lawyers Grudge Match" at Indy. There's you, Mark (NG40L or whatever), Jim (jspraldi), and me that I know of so far.

The car looks sweet! Good luck getting it all together.

Hey Bill,

I was nice to meet you today in person at the Chicago Dyno tune. Hopefully things will work out for you and your "project".
