It looks like the metal badges offered some years ago by a vendor whose name escapes me.....CarMotorsports?....IIRC .

They are heavy diecast metal and were available in 2 different sizes:

.75 and .88 caliber....... when mounted on a steering wheel cover with an explosive airbag behind it.

I mounted one of those flexible rubbery plastic stick-on 'GodsHead' badges that you could buy many years ago, from yet another vendor whose name I cannot remember.

It isn't diecast, more like polished aluminum or something and extremely light.

That means a much higher velocity upon airbag deployment!

Actually I think it is diecast brass and then plated and polished....at least the ones I bought some years ago were pretty hefty.
