Awesome! this top speed fued has been going on for a few years now, i can bet it will change to a new winner before the year is up. Thats blistering fast and for a car around the same size as a miata, scary as hell.

That is correct if it were to be Guinness Certified. NASA refused to let them make a run in the opposite direction for some reason and Guinness wouldn't show up. I read somewhere in the past day or two (think it was on Jalopnik or Car Throttle) that to qualify as a "production car" in Guinness' eyes, there needs to be 30 vehicles minimum produced each year. Hennessey is only making 29 of these cars.
