I'm thinking of swapping out the plugs and stat when I do my chip as per DR. Are these pretty easy to do yourself?
I looked at my engine, and forgive my ignorance, but I cant find my spark plugs! :)
This engine is way different from anything I've ever owned before.

Plugs are easy, Thermostat will make a mess all over your floor, but is otherwise not that challenging.
Plugs are under the access covers on the valve covers.
So where is the thermostat? I haven't even looked, to be honest? I've got this afternoon set aside for changing it, so I guess I'll find it then!

I could be way off base here, but I *think* it's in a cross-piece between the radiator hoses. There's a silver piece that hangs around mid-engine level that seems to be connecting the hoses that go to the top of the engine to those that go to the bottom.
Am I way off base here or is that where the thermostat is hiding on this engine?
