I know that we're not supposed to comment on these posts but, if those pics are accurate/timely, that's a nice looking 300A for the price (mileage is not bad).

Does anyone in the Windy City know this car?

He probably thinks its a 4V Cobra engine just like a lot of people do, see it listed all the time, way more than I see Mach 1 engine. I used to think it had a Cobra engine also because that's what I had heard. Found out it was Mach 1 not Cobra about a year after I had it when my performance shop told me the difference as I was researching the Eaton swap. I see it with the Mark VIII also. Just got to keep educating about it.

I contacted the seller. he said he has a clean title, but the guy he bought it from in another state had it as a salvage title. I passed.

I've spoken with this guy a few times. He is forthright and honest. It does now have a clean title, but had a previous salvaged title in another state. Car hit an animal (?) and was resurrected.

He seems like a straightforward and all square guy. Thought about buying for my son... But a the salvaged title just doesn't jibe with me unless I can see and drive it a few different times (not fly across country to see it).

Anyway, just wanted ya'll to know.
