Ok guys.
I'm torn now. I have "almost "every part collected.
But what do you all think? Do it or don't do it?

After the time, money and effort collecting all the parts, what would, now, make you "torn"? :dunno:

Reliability that's really it

Reliability that's really it
Well, I am getting ready to start collecting parts for my Eaton Swap. I sometimes wonder the same thing. My car has been fantastic so far and I would not want to jeopardize that in any way. And with its current mods I am pretty happy with the performance. However, I just can't help envisioning MY car with a big ole Eaton on top of it! :cloud9: Then, the dream continues when I stab the right foot on the accelerator.... We all know what happens then! :burnout::burnout:

Reliability that's really it
Just get a safe tune with it, not pushing the highest hp it could make and drive it sensibly and have funwith it here and there, if you mash on it stop sign to stop sign..then any car will lose reliability.

you should not do it.
how much for your parts :D
J/K DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No I'm not like that at all. I have a wonderful
tuner that tunes my 03 Cobra so he will tune it as well.
The Merc gets only driven twice a month

Is that even a question???? There should never be a question about whether to boost your car unless it's Eaton, Vortech, Procharger, Whipple, or Trilogy?

Then there you go, you have the perfect set up and reason to put that eaton on your Marauder:beer:

What he said.
It'll keep haunting you, if you don't slap that blower on.
The reliability of Marauders with a Supercharger, proper tune and conservative driving habits has been exemplary.

I wouldn't be worried about reliability. There have been so many eaton swaps over the years, it's been tested and proven by now.
You should definitely do it, the Marauder just isn't right without boost.

I just want to make sure I read this correctly. You are worried about it being reliable and you only drive it twice a month!?!?!?! You are probably making the vehicle less reliable by not driving it frequently! Just my .02! :) Get it blown and drive it with a smile.

LOL! You know what they say about boost!!! :D
It's a lot of fun! :burnout::burnout:
Yes boost is fun. I love my 03 terminator dearly.
I will do it I just need to finish my stuff gathering.
My biggest hurdle right now is finding the lower intercooler and fuel pump

Yes sir thanks a million. Do you think 39lb cobra injectors will suffice or should I go to 60s?

39's are good, that's what I have in mine. But don't do it, it will put a crazy Jack Nicholson as the Joker looking smile on your face, and with that smile you may end up in an insane asylum with bald rear tires. So sell it all to me...cheap.:D

I chose the 60's over the 39's for room to grow, should be the last injectors I have to buy.
All items on car have been done except the blower.
I will go with 60s just to keep ample fuel supplied for safety.
The good thing is that most of my parts are excess from my Terminator

You still have the stock block? If so, 39's will support way more than the rods will..
