You know marriage makes you do common sense things. Like I had the opportunity to get a brand new Buick Regal GNX, Turbo and Inter-cooled, in l987 but I decided the family was better off with a four door LaSabre.

But marriage has been great these past fifty years and four kids Later.

Patricia understands me, cause she bought me the Marauder, cash on the barrel head when she saw me drooling at the dealership. We actually went there to buy her a car. Patience my son.

And I am boosted.

Regards,

Pat

Congrats bubba!! Crossing 17 years this weekend for my wife and I. Always keep in mind it's a marathon and not a sprint and those who are flexible don't break!

I wish you the best and many HAPPY YEARS!!!

Not in my experience. :)

Actually, my wife makes me happier as the years go on.

Enjoy OP! Well, looks like we got something more in common than just a Marauder.

Congratulations, Sam!

Many, MANY happy years together...keep the channels of communication open...allow each other the space to grow and develop into their own 'selves' as well as together...in heated moments, THINK before SPEAKING...and try not to go to bed angry.
Great good luck to you both.

Thank you all so much. She is a wonderful woman.
When we first met and went out I took her out in the Merc on the first date and she loved it. She said it's a macho car lol.
I told her briefly a little history about the Marauder. As the 8 month went by and I asked her one day if she likes the Marauder and she said" if you love the Merc then I will love it to" :) she is a keeper.

Congrats. I will CELEBRATE 32 years in July.
All the advice those with successful marriages have given are correct.
Talk, do stuff she wants to do that you don't want to do.
Always keep a "boys night out" as part of your routine.
Never go to sleep mad at each other.
