I went on the internet and found this. 25,000 miles and always garage kept. Wishful thinking....

It would be great if mileage was the only factor. If so, you bet I would drive this as a DD!

That car reminds of the the following lyrics:

David Bowie's "Golden Years":

"Gonna drive back down
where you once belonged
In the back of a dream car
twenty foot long"

and the B52's "Love Shack":

"I got me a car, it's as big as a whale"

Tell me about it...she would look real good sitting next to the Bill Blass. I bought one of these DJE's from a junk yard awhile back when My Mark V was wrecked. Stripped it clean of parts!!!:D

Beautiful car, and quite a deal at that price.
That 460 big block probably has so much smog/pollution control that it would be lucky to go 0-60 in 12 seconds.

PS - Now, I had a '69 Mk III with a 460, but it could really haul.

Going back a little ways I had a '76 Town Car with the 460 4bbl and around town it was in the single digits, but on a trip down to Florida it got an amazing 16 MPG Not bad for a land yacht weighing in at 5,200 lbs

I owned a 71 Mark III...awesome car...It got better gas mielage than my Mark V...A true luxury hardtop with the mighty 460 performance...I saw her on a car lot about 2 years later and wish I hadn't. She was near cherry when I sold her and was defintely ruff when I saw her on the lot...
