Some of the seats in my MM are feeling pretty dry, what is the most moisturizing conditioner y'all have used?

I've seen what happens to leather after a long time exposed to the sun when I frequent the pick n pulls. So I constantly wipe my seats down with Armor all and other brands.
Everyone laughed at me when I got the seat covers from seatcovers unlimited. I think they look fine but some said they were fugly. Anyway, it covers the original leather just fine and hopefully protects the original seats from wear and the sun.

I would never use ArmourAll on anything... not even the tires.
ArmourAll is solvent based, and that makes things look cheap and fake. Not to mention it attracts dust. There are rumors that it dries the natural oils in vinyl/plastic pieces.

I use Lexol in both vehicles, since it's a separate cleaner and conditioner. I usually keep some brand of leather wipes in the vehicle too for oops.

I had found that Eagle One Leather Conditioner worked best. I used it religiously on the leather in my 79 Mark V and they look the same as when I bought it in 92...but I beleive they have discontinued this. I'm down to the last 2 bottles...

Ive had
meguires: good stuff, slippery after application
Croftgate: not impressed, too much money
Zymol: good stuff, i like the cleaner better than than the conditioner
Griots garage: Awesome! Leaves seats slightly tacky for a day or so, but after that they are very soft, smells like new leather for atleast a week! Advanced auto carries it now, so its easy to obtain.

Haha 7 responses, 7 different answers, I love it!
Thank you all for your input. I agree, ArmourAll ruined the dashboard on my 96 Impala SS. So it looks like any of the quality name brands out there will work just fine... I was kind of hoping someone knew one that was better at bringing leather back from stiff to soft and pliable again. I need one that is more of a "restore" rather than "maintenance"

Try griots garage, its like a lotion that really moisturizes/conditions the leather, Ive heard it helps to warm up the leather to open its pores...i turn the cars heat on in the winter as im doing it.

Meguiars for me, definitely made the seats slippery though, but they felt amazing

Ok I guess I'll try to griots garage, I can let it sit for a few days so that won't be a problem.
Jwibbity, slippery like slimey or soft slippery?

As Jim stated never use Armorall on any leather products!!:shake:
All products with natural oils and Lanolin are fine but some cause short term stickiness!!:(

+1 vote for Lexol.
Cleaner and Conditioner....
Been using it for years on my car's leather seats.
All my cars with leather seats, even with 200,000 miles on them, look brand new.

Griot's Leather Care Spray from AdvanceAutoParts is now my 1st choice; as it looks good, does the job, feels good to the touch, and is less slippery than Meguiar's Gold Class Conditioner.

+2 for Lexol Cleaner then apply conditioner . Could never get the other brands wanting to clean and condition in one step. To me you would be sealing in the dirt. That's why cleaning first makes sense to me.

Do you mean any liquid will stain if you use this product? Or are you saying it will stain if it gets wet before it cures?
Where can you get this Lexol?

Most self respecting auto parts stores, I've seen it in big box stores too, although those can be hit or miss. It's been a while since i've had to buy any.

What are assless chaps? Aren't chaps that way by definition? Unless you mean you wearing them and you have "no ass"?

Yes and yes.....but there is no need to be so mean to me.........sailor!
From Wiki: Chaps are also popular in fetish fashion and the leather subculture, where they often are tightly fitted and worn without jeans or other garments layered beneath them other than a codpiece.
They can be made of leather, patent leather, or vinyl and are worn for decoration serving no protective purpose.
Worn in this manner, they are colloquially referred to as "assless" chaps, despite the redundancy of the term.

Tell me why a lady told me today to use Murphy's oil soap on my interior....leather and dash. I was coming out of a pawn shop in essextrash(looking for a compound bow for my wife). I just said "no way" and considered the source.
