My son has a 2005 CV Sport. And it is a sweet ride.

His stock Ford Stereo ROCKS compared to my 03 Marauder.

IF i switch out my unit to the updated audiofile... will it sound like his?

Audiophile definitively sounds better than stock.

And what do you mean by "updated" audiophile?

Many are updating to the Ford escape unit.

Seriously his is stock and sounds three to five times better than mine

Is your son the original owner so he's sure the speakers haven't been replaced? If a stock Crown Vic system sounds THAT much better than the one in your Marauder, then yours has a problem. What exactly is "better" about his? More bass? Maybe the subwoofer in your car is not working...
