Just took em out for custom setup.
Are these wanted by the vic guys? Looks like they are plug and play. If I can get some good funds for it I'll sell. Otherwise I'll keep it and re-install it when it comes time to sell the car and keep the good stuff for the next one.

I'd post it here too. The only change I've made to mine were the speakers. All else is stock. Maybe someone here needs it.

They usually sell for $75ish here.

They are plug-n-play only if you have the harness.

They are plug-n-play only if you have the harness....and if the head unit supports a subwoofer. Alas, the one in my GMQ does not or I would be all over this.

The Subwoofer will bolt on to any 92-2011 Crown Vic or Grand Marquis. You do need to pull the front bracket and mounting studs off the rear deck.
My 2004 LX had the wire, and I am using the original head unit from my Marauder. The LX had a similar one but the RDS menu button is different. Plus that one won't eject CD's properly it's got Country Joe and the Fish still stuck in there thanks to the original owner.

Just an FYI. My new sub setup isn't complete yet and I drove around a bit yesterday with only the Infinity Reference components up front and 2 ways in the rear.
That sub, is USELESS.. My stereo sounds BETTER without it. I was able to turn the bass all the way up and the infinities sound cleaner, crisper, and by far clearer than when combined with the factory sub!!!!!!!!!!
If you have aftermarket speakers do yourself a favor. Unplug the sub amp and listen to a few songs. You'll realize that Sub assembly is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's why I upgraded the speakers, added tweeters and an Infinity Basslink.

Yep. Upgraded door speakers, installed 6x9's in rear deck and did this with my factory SW: http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=81384

You don't even need a sub. The sound is excellent. I can't wait to get this 10" project finished. The amp for it will be here tomorrow and Jason 2,4shofast is going to help me carpet the new box.

Who listens to the stereo? The music of eight cylinders, 32 valves and headers into flowmasters are a symphony to my ears.
