Re-coned a speaker. I was told to use MEK to remove the old glue. Could not find it locally so ordered some via Amazon. Before it came I found some acetone and that worked.
After all is said and done I have 1qt each of MEK, MEK alternative, acetone and naptha. My question now is where the heck do I store these? My attached and detached garages get to 120 degrees in the summer. The Canadian OSHA type site says they should be stored in a dark, cool, well ventilated place and the containers should be electrically grounded.
Other than well ventilated the only place that fits is under the counter in a seldom used bathroom. I live alone and have no pets.
Ideas?

I don't store stuff like that inside the house. Flammable liquid is stored in a ventilated shed 75ft from the house. Flammable gases like propane are stored outside.

Throw it over the boarder in to the US??
If you can't store it. Drop it off at a facility that accepts chemicals and paints to be recycled or properly disposed of.
Some local fire stations by me have a drop off for such things.

What about the 120 degrees inside the garage? The external garage has a temp controlled exhaust fan.
Oh, and that is the garage with the Marauder!

Naptha is zippo fluid and Coleman lamp fluid, do you go camping or smoke cigarettes? Charcoal grill? I store Coleman lamp fluid in the back of a cupboard in my kitchen. I wouldn't fret over it personally, keep the lid on it and put it under the sink.
