Hello all,
I posted Calling all Florida MM owners back on 01/2014 asking for some help. I am looking for someone to drop by D. Reinharts shop and just look at my car to see in fact if it is being worked on. The car is now a month past due and frankly I'm pissed. Short of me flying out there or me having the car picked up by a transport. I dont know if I have any other options, I sent my car out to him on a couple of recommendations. I will take care of anyone's time, gas, food, expenses, consulting fee, whatever! I know I'm asking a lot from strangers but we have one thing in common, our cars!
Thanks,
Alec

Hope he's not using your car for parts to fix other cars. This only happens to people that live far away from his shop. Get your car & run, first check it over twice before it leaves the shop. Ask me how i know, i can't believe members still send new members. When will they believe.

P T Barnham syndrome. Perhaps understandable in the years when the site owners were complicit in the cover up of a fellow owner, but after 10 years of horror stories and outright criminal activity it is inconceivable that anyone would either recommend or believe recommendations to expose themselves to another fraud. Incredibly stupid and totally preventable. When I joined MM.net the internet was full of warnings... that was nearly 9 years ago. One young former Marine, Navy Chaplain good guy left his Marauder for some minor work when shipping overseas and came back to pick it up after his deployment. While he was gone it had been driven 23,000 miles. Many customers discovered that their cars were not being worked on and their money had been used to buy parts for other older owed repair jobs from previously ripped off customers. Car repair PONZI SCHEME. Good Luck, friend.

I agree with Motown! I used to defend Dennis till I saw a car that came from his shop pretty much stripped! I won't post Picts in case the owner is doing something about it. I don't want to hurt anything he might be doing. All I can tell you is this car "was" a pearl and sits with about 15-20k worth of work that needs to be done to put it back together. It's a sad sight!

Very true! ive seen this Marauder as well, it makes you sick to your stomach that Dennis Rhienhart would do this to someone! its nothing more than a rolling chassis now.

I spoke to a supposed customer of his named Warren Boshien or Boshier? He spoke very highly of the 20k + that Dennis did on his car. I'm hoping to get somebody to swing by his shop to simply confirm the situation, if it turns out he's F'n me over then I'll be on the next plane to take care of BUSINESS! I've had a couple of members step up to the mound, they are just trying fit in the visit to the daily life schedule. Which I can totally understand, everyone's got ten pounds of crap that they're trying to shove into a five pound bag! I got to tell you guys I feel like a dope and I'm not very happy about it to say the least. It's amazing to me that this guy hasn't done this to the wrong person, we all know or at least heard stories of someone who operates with their own rules! You know that guy that you just get a sinking feeling in your stomach, like that motha is straight America's most wanted! I don't give two *****s about the rules dude. Well thats enough rambling for now, I really do appreciate having a place to vent guys.

Alec, you may as well go ahead and book your plane ticket to Florida. The last car that was involved in this sitauation is the shell that is sitting at my shop and is referred to in the posts above. The good news is all the car needs to be back to where it was is EVERYTHING. For that car, the customer showed up unannounced with a truck lined up and waiting at the corner to pick up what was left of his car.
I would tell you how many dollars in parts are MISSING but you would vomit and I, myself, am a sympathetic vomiter so I do not want to start a chain reaction. :puke:
It appears that his modus operandi is to take cars from unsuspecting customers that are distant from his shop and use them as donor cars. Then the owner is too far away to really be effective in collecting.
Thie stories out of that shop are what make the performance car industry look terrible.
Oh, and when you speak to him ask him if he has ever threatened to file bankruptcy to get out of a debt. Or, ask him if he has permission to use the Better Business Bureau's logo on his website.
I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onon and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onand on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onon and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onand on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onon and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onand on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and onon and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

Looking for suspension upgrade info....I ran into these posts, not only are they current...but amazing? I'm sure there are members that had either, good to very good experiences with Dennis....I am a "very good". But! That was 7 years ago, and I know allot can change in that much time, so I am not defending Dennis, let's get that straight! I am glad that I stumbled onto the info, sorry it had to be at the expense of a member? I hope things work out for all parties concerned, Kilm70 needs to "chill"...then find someone in Orange Park to "go see and report back"....think about it?..."Who ya gonna call"....the above agencies will take to long, yes, file complaints....but you need action now, today....think, local, car guys, take a chance...what do you have to loose? I would help if I was 2500 miles closer!

I have and am currently asking for anyone to make a visit to his shop. I think it's asking a lot of someone to get involved in this kind of situation, but that's me. I appreciate everyone's input, good or bad. Chill does not compute, I'm fourth generation Marine. I think the chill gene has disappeared from my DNA through process USMC evolution. My dad ran a "squared away" house and when compared to my grandfather who kicked the Nazi's ass at Normandy, he looked like Mr. Rodgers. I'm not complaining about my childhood, on the contrary I was blessed to raised by men of virtues. But unfortunately their were no lesson on how to chill. Thanks again for your post

If I were you I would get a plane ticket and to be there first thing Monday morning... I bought a marauder from the original owner who got screwed by Dennis and I'm still finding things that are hacked up. I don't understand how this man is still in business.

I was by Dennis' shop last Sundayand had him upgrade my fuel pump to an Aeromotive pump. Dennis showed me you car and every thing was done except he was waiting on the pipes to come back.
Hope this helps.

Hello Fellow MM lovers,
I owe everyone here and especially Mr. Reinhart an apology, there has a big misunderstanding on the status of my car. Between a recent life changing event that my family is trying to comprehend and issues with vendors not delivering complete orders that Dennis is trying to get delivered. Vortech has even sent a email out to his customers over the delays. This is an email from Vortech explaining the delay of the parts ordered by Dennis.
Hello Dennis, I just spoke with Geno about your items on order, he advised me that we are missing a special stud out of the alternator bracket assembly’s. I apologize for this as I mistakenly told you that items were almost ready to go. The stud that is missing is a special machined stud that goes with the alternator brackets. I went over some options with Geno to try and take care of you due to the expected date of the studs arrival, which is set for April 14, 2014. The best option at the moment seems to be, to send you everything that we can now, and just send you those studs as soon as they arrive. Now we do realized that there is a long wait for these studs, but we will do our best to see if we can improve on getting it here sooner. As of now I cannot promise you that we will, but if we can, we will.
Please let me know if it is ok to send out everything that we have ready on Monday, and then ship out the remaining studs when they arrive. Geno did mention that you would like me to send you an email that you can forward to your customer, I will gladly do that for you Dennis. You may even have the customer contact me directly and I will be happy to explain the situation to him.
Thank you,
Sales
AirPowerŪ Group
I would also like to add that I had my car shipped from a dealership in Texas to his shop sight unseen and it doesn't have any plates to boot. so he is getting a dealer tag, So that was above and beyond of what is expected. Both of us have been consumed with these tribulations and seeing how my mind is elsewhere, I let my pent up anger over the news of my wife get the best of me. Also I fed into the Reinhart bashing on the forum which just made my post progressively more and more aggressive.
I believe where this hole thing went south, is when I would call to ask about my car I would different progress reports. Well I didn't take account that Dennis has five cars that he his working on the same time as mine! So yes I did not think about that. As far as what others think he has looked my car over found the upper controll rms bad and is fixing them as well, he is cleaning the stained non painted valve cover and intake I will post pictures and dyno I am proud of the car as you are yours then I will ask the moderators to lock the thread. and I hope that everyone can let this go. Dennis has sent pictures of my car complete and I will post them up on the forum. I know my post has hurt his business and all the apologies in the world won't change that, hopefully we can move forward with clean slate and hold no grudges. Thank you for your time and understanding .
Sincerely,
Alec Kiln
