Someone I know has a 2007 Crown Vic and the interior temperature controller will only blow hot air. He will turn the dial all the way to blue and it will always be hot air. He also told me before it got stuck in this mode, he heard some clicking.
Time for a new temperature control unit or is this an easy fix like our cars?
Thanks!

Sounds like blendor door actuator.
Gotta rip apart the dash to get to it.
Not too expensive for the part but labor costs will kill you.

Looks like a bad little Oring or two on the blendor door actuator.
I had the same prob,& there is a write up of it somewhere on here.

Looks like a bad little Oring or two on the blendor door actuator.No. The blend door actuator is the only one in the dash that's not vacuum-controlled...it's electric and they go bad regularly.
As stated above, the part is inexpensive, but getting TO it is not fun.
He also told me before it got stuck in this mode, he heard some clicking. Yup...that's exactly what they do.

It's not o-rings. It's the Blend Door Actuator.
Part = about $75.00 (only buy one from Ford as the aftermarket ones will not last)
Labor = about 4 hours
Try running the EATC self test.

If the car is not a floor shift this can be done in less then 2 hours. I've done these many times. Just done one last week.
