Blower cams for the win. Are they worth any HP?

I couldn't tell you what I netted for gains as I swapped my entire drivetrain, compression ratio, fuel system, pulley combos, and gearing at the same time.

I also never degreed the cams or had a retune for all the new exhaust.

I've been told you could lose some power and also been told you could gain around 30 hp not degreed. When degreed I've been told 30 and up. And with blower/head porting and exhaust anywhere up to 60 depending what all you have done.

So in a nutshell who knows.. I was going for sound anyways, if I lost or gained up to 30hp I doubt I'd notice all that much with the manual.

Back to mufflers. I got the most compliments with the second set of cats removed, 18" Magnaflows, and hollowed out factory tips. After about 5,000 miles, the muffs were definitely at there sweet spot.

My car had the flo pro mufflers on it when I got it, but so far I really like the SW turbo chambered cans that are on it now. Loud though. My buddy was behind me in my Super Duty the other day and said when I was on the throttle he could hear me over the truck.

They do make great power & more on the toque side, A lot of work & cost to install them.I went with comp blower cams stage IIIs.
The sound is awesome on mine & if you want I can give you a part & cost list of all that went into it.

Yes. I don't know which S.W. Muffler I have as I wasn't given a choice, nor did I even know there was a choice till just recently.

? I've just been hearing a little gossip on here about a choice of two. All I know was a choice wasn't given to me last year. I will say I don't like what I have and either plan to **** can the X in favor for an H, or at minimum switch to Magnaflow muffs again. Way too raspy mid to upper gear X's every gear = annoying. Too bad, because I love the idle and the WOT sound.

Magnaflow 18's with "H-Pipe" sounds great!!:bows:

Mine was pretty mellow with a nice rumble for the first year or so but is a bit louder now......very nice with all the noise OUT BACK....NO DRONE!!:bows::beer:

Rear cat delete with magnaflow on the stock blue makes me happy.

Was really lucky as the day before Louisville it was all I could find on the shelf at autozone. even sweet talked the cashier to match a price when her competitor didn't have them in stock ;)

Magna flow with Res delete in Black... nice hearty sound, a little "drone-ish" on freeway, but have come to LOVE IT.

Stock on SB--working to change to magna-flow NOW and will KEEP Res-- to check as I want the silver to be more a sleeper

I did not know there was a choice, nor was I given one. But I'm happy with what I have. I still have not heard it from outside the driver's seat though. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the sound from co-workers, etc.
