jlt cai question

i installed the intake kit and car seems to bog down and hesitate before taking off. do I need to get a tune? Im trying to keep all original since it has only 17000 miles. cai was the only mod i was interested in.

I would check the connections on the sensors! Should not need a tune for just cai but its recommended

Check that you plugged the MAF back in and also check that you have no leaks.

A tune is not needed. However try disconnecting your battery for 15 minutes, then reconnect and drive around normally for about a half hour.

Check the connector on the MAF. Also need to let the oil drain off the filter. If you over oil it you'll get oil on the MAF sensor.

have not reinstalled it yet still debating...i'm happy with the stock performance but love the look of the jlt
