I guess people can't tell the difference to a rear wheel drive car to a front wheel drive car.

I only went to those places in the winter months. But stopped going after I had to convince them my 95 Fleetwood was not front drive and needed 5 quarts...oh and they nearly closed the door on the trunk...pass...

Wow... What brand of stupid does a "tech" have to be to not notice the obvious difference in the tire sizes while rotating! :shake:

I like the Low Rider look. Can you let more air out of your susension and drag your pipes down the road?

Are those stock size tires? I never would have guessed the difference was so drastic looking.

Very obvious tire switch to those in the know.

Jiffy Lube-type places *can* be a good thing for people who for whatever reason can't change their own oil...many apartment complexes have restrictions, or perhaps the person has a physical disability. You just have to know more than they do and watch them like a hawk.
I am required to bring my company van to Jiffy Lube. I stand right there and watch everything they do. When they try to direct me to the customer waiting area, I politely thank them and continue standing there.

Back in the early 90's the "technician" at Jiffy Lube grabbed the ATF hose and was about to put it in my engine before I stopped him. The manager nearly fired him on the spot since it apparently was not the first time it happened. Good thing I was watching.

Sad Sad Sad. I hope they disabled the Air Ride Switch in the trunk before performing this Bonehead Manuever.

Anytime I take my car in for something I know it will be going on the lift for I turn the RAS off myself.

Looks like a 300a to me based on the fuel filler door. If so, there is NO traction control and she probably will not even notice the difference.

Mr Man, the rears are 275 nitto 420s, the fronts are stock size, but Falkens something or other.
It is a 300a, and nope, the wife didn't notice at first. I do check the oil every time after I let a shop do it as I've had another horror story happen with my excursion - the shop left the oil cap off... which caused the engine to suck unmetered air and about 3 quarts of oil from the valve covers to the intake tract, burn that unmetered air with as much fuel as it could dump to keep it from going lean (and believe me those v10s can dump fuel), burned the oil, coated the o2 sensors and rendered them useless, and combined with a uhaul trailer with brakes that were dragging, I was going 60mph tops with the marauder in tow - this happened when I bought the marauder... When I discovered what happened at home, I wanted to drive the excursion into the show room of the shop... sigh. Found the oil cap sitting on top of the headlight under the hood. The thing didn't fall off in 400 miles...

I forget to turn off the rear suspension all the time and nothing bad ever happens.

One of these things is not like the other!
I had a transmission shop "do me a solid" and rotate my tires for me too. Same thing happened. Doesn't just happen at oil change places.
