Yes, I may have to add a bit more for shipping if cost is significant. I'll research it, but I don't expect it would cost much.

I used to live in Hawaii and hated to see sellers automatically excluding shipping to Hawaii when most times (flat rate) the cost was the same. In your case, although cost is apparently much higher, I bet most sellers exclude Canada for lack of knowledge. I've shipped things via US Mail internationally in the past without problems. I just don't know how to set things up in Ebay. I don't mind learning so ill research it in the next few days and will change the listing as needed. Any pointers would be appreciated.

All you have to do is add a shipping option for Canada. Box that size is about $20 for shipping USPS international. You may have to provide an HS code for the item to ship it which is the biggest pain to find. Other than that it's the same as shipping within the US.

Well, it turns out adding a shipping option for Canada was more complicated than I realized. Once bidding has started it is impossible to change certain things. It seems adding international shipping may be one of them. In attempting to do this, I mistakenly created another shipping option (a slower and more expensive one), which may actually work out.
I did learn there is a way to allow specific buyers to be exempt from the exclusions. This may be another way to overcome the shipping situation.
Last, the USPS flat rate box fee to Canada is $40.95. https://store.usps.com/store/browse/uspsProductDetailMultiSkuDropD own.jsp?productId=P_O_FRB1
Either way, I'll ship to Canada, at least once. Doing so may require a little work and communication with the buyer, but we can make it happen.
